MACT cases : Would be required to deal with the advocates for the settlement of the case ,initiate out of court settlement, to ensure proper payments of the court awards and advocate fees, to deal with the investigator for each and every case , to ensure the receipt of the investigation report and to release the fees of the investigator
Consumer cases: To ensure the filing of all relevant documents in the courts such as WS, affidavits etc. To be in constant touch with the respective advocates in order to deal with the case. To comply with the orders of the courts within the time frame.
Ombudsman cases: To keep a track of Ombudsman notices received and its hearing dates. To send a detailed note to the Ombudsman with respect to the details of the case. If asked by insurance ombudsman. To comply with the orders of insurance ombudsman in the timeframe.
Other Accountabilities
• Prepare & maintain MIS for the TP & the other legal cases handled
• Maintain the TAT for the case
• Provide appropriate reserving
• Set up a network of able lawyers & investigators across the region
• Maintain good relationship with police & courts
