- Installation of Websphere Application Server and TDS on a multinode system
-Patching websphere application server
Applications On Demand (AOD) has multiple openings for experienced Websphere Application Server Administrators. The candidate should be technically strong and quick in adapting to new technologies. Should be good team player, capable in achieving taks in coordination with multiple teams from different geographies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in production support for WAS
- Installation and configuration of WAS 5.x and 6.x
- Configuration of Security, Network, Namespace binding, JMS and JDBC resources
- WAS Patching
- WAS Admin scripting
- Federation with multiple profiles
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Portal Server deployment and Administration (Websphere Portal Server / JetSpeed)
- J2EE application design & development
- Exposure to Apache Struts, Hibernate
- Exposure to Oracle DB
